Am.Can. Ch. Sassenach Howard's End

 

The end of an era.  Pandy quietly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 19, 2008.  Pandy has left a very large hole in the hearts of the Dawes family.

 

 

**Pandy recently celebrated his 15th birthday!! 

 

"Pandy, with his engaging grin and constantly wagging tail, has been a joy to live with over the past 13 years and we hope he will be with us for some time to come - he is an absolute treasure.

 

He is also an extremely sound dog with a wonderful temperament and a happy and balanced outlook on life. In his earlier years he had loads of fun at Agility classes which culminated in a "Hoof and Woof" competition

- the clapping and cheering really got him going and he has really rallied and played up to the attention from an audience ever since.

 

He has been an enthusiastic running partner and biking companion for most of his life and has received many compliments from Conformation Judges throughout his show career on his superb condition.

 

After he had finished his Canadian Championship - with Group placings en route - he took some time off before venturing south of the border in order to acquire his American Championship. This he acquired easily in just a few weekends winning 4 Majors along the way.

 

Pandy has been very successful in Veterans Sweeps both in Canada and the U.S where his fantastic constitution and fitness level have belied his years.

At close on 14 years he is still pretty active and game for any outing, whether it be swimming in the lake in the summer or romping along with with the rest of the pack along the snowy trails in winter.

 

Pandy is owned and loved by Robyn and Pete Dawes of Dryden, Ontario.
